| It was a great day of rowing with Queen's University Belfast winning three of the four races - the senior ladies, the novice men and the novice women. Trinity College Dublin won the main race of the day - the Senior 8 man race. It was an extremely close and exciting race, with Queen's unfortunately hitting the King's Bridge and bringing their boat to a virtual standstill. Even so they made an amazing comeback but were eventually beaten by one and three quarter lengths by Trinity who crossed the finish line in a time of 6 minutes... |
